Anso Comfort Capsules is an over-the-counter
dietary supplement product that purports to treat
high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Recently, the FDA recalled the NuMeridian Corporation's product after discovering that Anso Capsules contained the prescription anxiety drug Librium (also known as chlordiazepoxide). Librium is a central nervous system depressant. When used in conjunction with
alcohol or other drugs Librium can cause dangerous side effects.
